We could be one step closer to seeing and hearing some more local faces and names in the OHL.
Several local hockey players were selected in this weekend’s OHL Priority Draft.
Joseph Raaymaker, goaltender with the Chatham-Kent Cyclones was selected 37th over all by the Sault Ste Marie Greyhounds and Wallaceburg’s own Brady Pataki was selected 65th. The Cyclones right winger was picked up by the Sudbury Wolves.
Levi Tetrault of Pain Court, Brock Philips of Fergus, Chatham’s Branden Harrogate, Tibury’s Nolan Gardiner and Anthony Hurtubise of Sarnia were all drafted and await possible OHL signings and assignments.
