A suspended police officer will be back in court later this month, facing charges of sexual assault.
Constable Ken Miller is scheduled to face charges laid by the province’s Special Investigations Unit in connection to an incident last August.
Miller has also been charged with discreditable conduct under the Police Service Act. During a hearing this morning, that matter has been put on hold until late November.
Meantime, a hearing date has been set for Sergeant Robert Mugridge, charged with 50 counts of Discreditable Conduct, one count of deceit, and one count of Corrupt Practice.
Mugridge will face a Police Service Act hearing on August 15th, followed by a court date on September 19th.
The veteran officer has been suspended from duty since July, 2014.
