Chatham-Kent students are donating canned goods to the Outreach For Hunger food bank, but they need your help.
It’s all part of the annual We Scare Hunger event.
Kathy Kearns, Ursuline College teacher, says they’re looking to make it bigger than ever.
“Last year we had a record amount, I think we did over 20 F-150 trucks filled with food, over 20,000 pounds of food,” Kearns says. “We’re hoping to match that at the very least, if we can do that again I think we would consider that a very successful campaign.”
Students will be going door to door on Halloween to collect donations of non-perishable food.
