One person has died following a two-vehicle collision on Highway 401 just east of Chatham-Kent.
Emergency crews were called to the eastbound lanes at Iona Road in Dutton shortly after 2:30 Sunday morning.
Elgin OPP say a 64-year-old woman was taken to hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
Four other people were also taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Elgin County OPP with the assistance West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team continue to investigate the collision.
