The investigation continues into a serious crash on the 401.
Chatham-Kent OPP say a transport and passenger vehicle collided in the eastbound lanes near Bloomfield Road around 3 o’clock Wednesday afternoon.
The lone occupant of the passenger vehicle was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The truck driver wasn’t hurt.
The eastbound lanes were shut down for over three hours as a result, but reopened shortly before 8 last night.
