October 4th is the big day in the push to get a median barrier installed on the 401 through Chatham-Kent.
A petition, calling for the barrier which is available at municipal centres until Sept 29th, will be read by MPP Rick Nicholls at the Ontario Legislature and ask the Minister of Transportation a question.
Alysson Storey, who has been the driving force behind the petition says if you want to come to Queen’s Park, they’re organizing a bus.
“This is open to anyone, Whether you are directly involved or not, you are welcome to join us, we’re renting buses and driving to Toronto, rallying at queens park, going into the legislature when MPP Nicholls presents the question and petition.”
To get on the list to attend the rally, call or text 519-365-2129
Storey says there have been signatures from Ottawa down to Windsor-Essex.
