A 26-year-old with a lead foot is going to have to alternate means of transportation following a run in with Chatham-Kent provincial police.
According to police the Toronto man was clocked doing 170km/h on the 401 westbound near Tilbury early Saturday morning.
Instead of pulling over and admitting defeat, the man decided he’d turn off his lights and attempt to give the officer the slip.
When that failed, he pulled over.
To make matters worse, he couldn’t prove he owned the vehicle or had insurance.
He’s facing a long list of charges, his licence has been suspended and his vehicle seized for a week.
