Local residents will get to have their say on where the municipality spends their tax dollars this week.
Tonight marks the first in a series of public input sessions on the 2019 budget.
The draft document was presented at the Civic Centre last week with a proposed tax hike ranging from 1.7 to 2.03%, depending on provincial funding.
A pair of community open houses are scheduled tonight in Dresden and Tilbury.
Tomorrow, similar sessions will be held in Wallaceburg and Blenheim, and the final meeting will take place in Chatham on Thursday.
All of the budget input sessions run from 4:30 to 6 with a chance for one-on-one discussions with municipal staff as well as a formal presentation and question period.
