The anger was flowing online once again yesterday after an early morning Amber Alert.
And not just online – as with other overnight alarms that have been set out this year, yesterday’s Alert sparked a slew of complaints to 911.
Provincial Police are reminding everyone that calling any emergency service communication centre is not an appropriate venue to complain about Amber Alerts.
Authorities say they recognize the inconvenience the alert may have caused, but will never apologize for using all the tools available to help locate a child.
