Impaired driving charges have been laid against a Chatham man.
An officer on patrol early this morning spotted a vehicle run through a red light, and pulled the driver over.
The 54-year-old behind the wheel failed a roadside breath test and was taken to police headquarters.
Along with the impaired driving charge, police say the accused is also facing a charge of failing to comply with a court ban on consuming alcohol.
The man’s license has been suspended for 90 days, and his vehicle impounded for one week.
