A local woman has been charged following an assault in Chatham.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to a Grand Avenue business in Chatham on Wednesday at around 7 p.m. after a man was punched and elbowed in the face.
Following an investigation, police arrested a 60-year-old Chatham woman who is now charged with one count of assault.
The accused was taken to police headquarters and later released with a future court date.
