Chatham-Kent Fundraises Six Times More Than Other Regions In Big Brothers Draw

Chatham-Kent residents helped raise $51,000 in the first Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Ontario Bigger Together 50/50 online draw.

The winner of the $178,790 Ontario-wide jackpot was from Lindsay, Ontario.

Chatham-Kent Big Brothers and Big Sisters officials say C-K was responsible for some very heavy lifting in the draw.

“Our itty bitty community raised on average six times more than anywhere else in Ontario,” says case worker Holly Larivee. “It’s just amazing.”

The winning ticket number was A-7754401.

The online draws will continue raising funds and spreading awareness for Big Brothers and Big Sisters.
