A Toronto woman is in hot water with local police.
Friday afternoon, the accused is said to have stolen roughly $250 worth of property from a St Clair Street business, then took $20 in gas from a Park Avenue East gas station.
Surveillance video helped to identify a suspect, who police say was driving a vehicle stolen from Milton.
The accused water later found on Charing Cross Road and arrested.
The 40-year-old was charged with two counts of theft under $5000, two counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, one count of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, driving under suspension, possession of a controlled substance, and failing to comply with release order.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
