CK Public Health is reporting 9 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday.
84 cases are currently “active” in the municipality – that’s Chatham-Kent’s highest active case load since the pandemic began.
There is one workplace outbreak listed on the Public Health website – although it has not been confirmed what that workplace is.
Of Chatham-Kent’s 308 total cases, 253 are considered close contact transmissions with 17 cases listed as travel-related.
Dr. Colby says a number of positive cases currently self-isolating should soon be cleared and added to the recoveries column.
Approximately 300 C-K residents are currently self-isolating as active cases or close contacts of current cases.
Ontario is now at 4 consecutive days under 100 new cases, with 95 new cases reported province-wide on Thursday.
