99.1 CKXS will once again air a special Remembrance Day ceremony on November 11th.
The annual radio special begins just before 11AM on Wednesday, November 11th and is broadcast very similar to a cenotaph service including includes special commentary, The Last Post, a moment of silence and more.
99.1 will broadcast a full hour of music selections dedicated to the memory of those who have served and those who have laid down their lives for our country.
Due to COVID-19 precautions and regulations, cenotaph services will not be open to the public this year.
The staff and management at 99.1 CKXS hope the on-air broadcast will help fill a void and carry on the tradition and teachings of Remembrance Day locally.
