A fundraising walk is helping seniors and those in need in Chatham-Kent.
Registration is now open for the Grand Parade, set to take place on September 21st in Chatham.
Registration begins at 10am at 50 Adelaide Street South. The walk includes 2.5 or 5km options and begins at 11, followed by a light meal.
Proceeds support Family Service Kent community-based programs, including transportation, counselling, and frozen meals.
The fundraising goal for this year’s parade is $20,000.
