It’s going to be a toasty few days in Chatham-Kent.
Environment Canada has a heat warning in effect with temperatures expected in the low 30s with little relief from the heat overnight.
Officials with the weather agency say the hot weather will last through tomorrow and possibly into Wednesday, depending on how widespread shower and thunderstorm activity will be. Cooler temperatures are expected by Wednesday night.
Residents are urged to drink plenty of water even before you feel thirsty and stay in a cool place as much as possible.
Never leave people, particularly children, or pets inside a parked vehicle.
