A memorial golf tournament is helping those in need in Chatham-Kent.
The Chatham-Kent Police Association recently hosted the annual Rob Herder Memorial Golf Tournament. A cheque for $7000 has since been passed along to Chatham Outreach for Hunger as well as donations of food.
Organizers of the tournament say they believe in the importance of giving back and supporting the community, and hope the donation to the food bank will help make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families in Chatham-Kent.
