A Chatham teen has been arrested in connection to allegations of intimate partner violence.
Police were contacted on Sunday about historical offences and launched an investigation.
A 19-year-old man was arrested at his home without incident.
Authorities say the accused is facing four counts of assault. A search turned up a pair of brass knuckles, leading to a further charge of possession of a prohibited weapon.
The teen was released from custody but will be back in court to answer to the charges next month.
