A tragic long weekend collision has claimed the life of a Merlin man.
Emergency crews responded to Talbot Trail west of Dealtown shortly after 10:30 Sunday morning and say two vehicles collided between Goulet Road and Kendall Road.
The driver of one vehicle, a 37-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. Two occupants from the second vehicle were taken to hospital with significant but non-life threatening injuries.
The victim’s name is not being released at this point out of respect for the family’s privacy.
