An arrest has been made in connection to an indecent act committed on a school property in Chatham.
Chatham-Kent Police launched an investigation last week following reports that a man committed a lewd act at Queen Elizabeth II School the evening of October 22nd. Authorities now say the alleged incident was one of several on the Eugenie Street property, however the school was closed at the time, and no children were present.
Further investigation identified a 23-year-old man, who was caught in the act by police at the school on Tuesday. The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing.
Investigators believe these were isolated incidents and there are no further suspects.
