Dinner Theatre Bringing Laughs to Thamesville

A special dinner theatre is supporting health care in the region.

Thamesville’s Crossroads Community Players are putting on a production of “Hotbed Hotel” this weekend and next at Thamesville United Church.

The story follows hotel owners Terri and Brian Cody, who are desperate to sell their one-star lodging in the Florida Keys but must overcome their inept staff and questionable guests in order to convince a wealthy businessman to invest.

Proceeds from the show will support the purchase of a portable ultrasound machine for the emergency department at Four Counties Health Services in Newbury.

Tickets must be purchased in advance and are available at Boothill General Store in Bothwell, MacTavish Pharmacy in Dresden, the Ridgetown Independent News, and Thamesville Home Hardware, or by calling 519-784-4307 or 519-784-4274.

Beef dinner and show: November 15, 16, 22, and 23. Dinner served at 6pm, show begins at 7:30. Matinees (not including dinner) will be held at 1:30 on November 17 and 24.
