The YMCA of Southwestern Ontario is celebrating four decades of honouring the achievements of local women.
The YMCA Women of Excellence Awards is now accepting nominations to recognize eight women for their contributions which have made a lasting impact on southwestern Ontario communities.
Women can be nominated for several award categories including, Arts, Culture, Education & Training, Breaking Barriers, Business & Professions, Entrepreneurs, Health, Science & Technology, Social Justice, Sport, Fitness & Recreation, and the Young Woman of Excellence.
Nominations will close on December 11 and the 2025 honourees will be announced on February 11, 2025. An awards gala will then be held on May 15, 2025.
