A Wallaceburg resident has been charged after being stopped by police on Highway 40.
The Ontario Provincial Police said an officer was on patrol on the highway when they received an alert from their automated license plate reader about a passing vehicle at around 10:40 p.m. on Friday.
The officer stopped the northbound vehicle near Dover Centre Line.
As a result, the driver, a 65-year-old from Wallaceburg, is now charged with driving while under suspension.
