A Chatham man has been charged after police found him taking a nap in his vehicle.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to an area of Keil Drive South in Chatham to conduct a welfare check, just before 6:30 a.m. on Monday.
A man was found asleep behind the wheel of his vehicle and was arrested. He was then take to police headquarters for tests.
As a result, a 34-year-old Chatham man is now charged with driving while impaired by drugs. He was later released from custody with a February court date.
