An arrest has been made an argument escalated into violence in Wallaceburg.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to an address on Reaume Avenue at around noon on Wednesday after a woman struck another person with an unspecified object during an argument.
The victim suffered only minor injuries.
A 40-year-old Wallaceburg woman is now facing an assault charge. She has since been released and will answer to a judge in court next month.
