A slick start to the day for drivers and pedestrians.
Officials with Environment Canada warn there could be as much as 2mm of ice buildup in some areas, and surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may be slippery.
With that in mind, student transportation officials have cancelled all school buses serving the Lambton-Kent, St Clair Catholic, and Providence school boards for the day.
Conditions are expected to improve later this morning.
