The beanbags will be flying this weekend, all in support of a good cause.

The second annual Cornhole for Hospice fundraiser is set to take place tomorrow at the John D Bradley Convention Centre.

Teams are guaranteed three games in a random round robin style tournament before being split into two divisions for a double-elimination tournament. The winning team of each division will receive a cash prize.

The inaugural event, held last March, raised a total of $33,500 for hospice care in Chatham-Kent.

All proceeds support the 10-bed Chatham-Kent Hospice, which relies on donations to cover over 60 per cent of the organization’s annual operating budget.
