Driving with a flat tire has led to an impaired driving charge for a Chatham woman.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers pulled over a vehicle that had a flat tire on Richmond Street in Chatham at around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Believing the driver had been drinking, officers conducted a roadside sobriety test. The driver was then arrested and taken to police headquarters for further tests.
As a result, a 32-year-old Chatham woman has been charged with impaired driving. She was also issued a 90-day driver’s licence suspension and her vehicle will be impounded for seven days.
The accused will answer the charge in court on March 3.
