Entegrus President, CEO Announces Retirement

Entegrus CEO Jim Hogan.

The head of one of Chatham-Kent’s utilities is calling it a career after nearly two decades.

Jim Hogan has announced that he will retire as the president and CEO of Entegrus in February 2026.

Hogan began his tenure at Entegrus in 2001 as the company’s chief financial and regulatory officer and was appointed to his current role in 2009.

The utility said Hogan led the organization through a period of transformational change marked by mergers and acquisitions of four local utilities in southwestern Ontario, as well as rapid shifts within the energy sector itself.

“Jim’s leadership has been instrumental in shaping Entegrus into the organization it is today,” said Max Fantuz, chair of the Entegrus Inc. Board of Directors. “His steady guidance, high standards, and deep commitment to the people and communities we serve have helped foster a strong culture of safety, operational excellence, and public trust.”

Entegrus said it will make a formal announcement regarding the appointment of a new president and CEO at a later date.
