
A Wallaceburg man is facing impaired driving charges following a traffic stop in St Clair Township.
According to Lambton OPP, an officer on general patrol pulled over the vehicle on Highway 40, south of Bentpath Line just before 2 o’clock Sunday morning.
Following further investigation, the 40-year-old driver was arrested and charged with having a blood alcohol level over the legal limit. A 90 day license suspension was also issued along with a seven-day vehicle impoundment.
The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in a Sarnia courtroom in August.
