A single-vehicle crash has led to an impaired driving charge for a Chatham man.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers responded to the intersection of Indian Creek Road and Charing Cross Road just before 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, after a vehicle left the road and struck a hydro pole.
The vehicle was seen driving on the wrong side of the road prior to the collision.
Believing he had been drinking, officers arrested the driver.
A 62-year-old Chatham man has been charged with impaired driving. He was later released with a court date scheduled for later this month.
