A philanthropic men’s group is helping to support local residents in times of crisis.

The local chapter of 100 Men Who Care recently handed over a cheque for $10,100 to the Chatham-Kent Sexual Assault Crisis Centre (CKSACC.)

The Sexual Assault Crisis Centre is a grass-roots, equality-seeking organization that offers a continuum of services for women and girl-identifying, trans and non-binary persons 16 years of age or older, who have experienced the impact of sexual assault, harassment, exploitation, or abuse.

The organization was chosen by the group’s members as their charity of choice during their most recent meeting, with each member contributing $100 to the cause.
