
Charges have been laid after an argument turned violent between two men in Tilbury.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to a Young Street residence at around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday following an assault.
According to authorities, a 60-year-old man was pushed from a chair by another man after a verbal argument escalted. The 60-year-old was further assaulted by the other man, resulting in minor injuries.
As a result, a 38-year-old Chatham-Kent man was arrested and charged with assault and assault causing bodily harm. He was later released with conditions and a future court date.
