Cyclist Struck By Semi-Truck Succumbs To Injuries

A local man has died following a serious collision in Chatham.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service said a semi-truck struck a cyclist on St. Clair Street in Chatham shortly before 11:15 a.m. on September 15.

The 38-year-old Chatham-Kent man who was riding the bicycle was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The 40-year-old London woman who was driving the truck was not injured.

The cyclist succumbed to his injuries in hospital on September 19.
