An upcoming event in Wallaceburg is expected to bring the community’s history and legends to life on screen.

The Wallaceburg and District Museum will host a special screening on Friday, featuring the premiere episode of the series Strange Tales of the South Shore, which will focus on The Baldoon Mystery.

Deeply rooted in Wallaceburg’s history and folklore, The Baldoon Mystery is one of southwestern Ontario’s best-known unexplained tales.

Following the screening in the Jeanne Gordon Hall, a question-and-answer session will take place with the series filmmaker Ken Amlin, the producer and director of KRA Productions Inc.

The screening of the 40-minute episode begins at 7 p.m. Registration is required to attend, and tickets can be purchased online for $15.
