Vehicle Damaged During Downtown Fight

Two men are facing charges following a fight that led to property damage in downtown Chatham.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers responded to a parking lot on King Street following a physical altercation on Thursday at around 10:15 a.m.

A nearby vehicle was damaged as a result of the incident.

Officers located and arrested two men, a 29-year-old from Chatham and a 57-year-old from Dover Township, who are now charged with mischief under $5,000.

Both were later released with conditions and a future court date.
