Chatham-Kent is once again offering up funding to support local community events and projects planned for next year.
The municipality is now accepting applications for its TogetherCK grant program, which invites local groups to apply for up to 50 per cent of a project’s costs up to a maximum of $10,000, and up to 50 per cent of a community event’s cost to a maximum of $5,000. Those applying to hold a significant event with an attendance of over 25,000 can apply for a maximum of $25,000 based on the event budget.
All applications will be reviewed by a committee composed of citizens and representatives from various municipal departments.
Information sessions will be held on November 4 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., and on November 5 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.
