A woman is facing an impaired driving charge following a collision involving a vehicle and a train in Chatham.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said a vehicle struck a train on Colborne Street shortly after midnight on Thursday. Train officials were contacted, and the train was halted.
The driver of the vehicle, a 19-year-old woman, was not injured in the collision. However, she was arrested and taken to police headquarters for breath tests, which she allegedly failed.
As a result, the woman has been charged with driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit. She will answer the charge in court next month.
