Thousands of dollars have been raised to support families in need across southwestern Ontario.
The RONA Foundation has put the wraps on its third annual Home Sweet Home campaign, revitalizing living environments for Canadians in need.
In-store and online donations between September 1st and October 12th supported four organizations in Southwestern Ontario, providing help to victims of domestic violence, low-income families, and people with disabilities or mental health issues.
RONA stores in Chatham and Wallaceburg raised a collective $1945.30 to support Habitat for Humanity Chatham-Kent. The Sarnia store brought in $2590 for Habitat for Humanity Sarnia/Lambton. In Windsor, the two RONA locations raised a total of $10,833.69 for Charity House/Brentwood Recovery Home. The Leamington location collected $2074 in support of the Erie Shores Health Foundation.
“As the housing crisis intensifies every year, the RONA Foundation’s mission has never been more crucial,” said Catherine Laporte, President, RONA Foundation Board of Directors and Chief Digital and Marketing Officer at RONA. “With this initiative, we are reaffirming our commitment to Canadians and to creating safe, inclusive living environments for all. Thank you so much to everyone who contributed to the success of this campaign.”
