A local man is facing charges after a Chatham business was vandalized.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers responded to the Third Street business just after 10 p.m. on Saturday after someone caused damage to a bathroom door. Police received a similar complaint at another undisclosed location at around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday.
Officers located a man who matched the description of the suspect who allegedly provided false information to police.
A 28-year-old Chatham-Kent man was arrested and is now charged with mischief and obstructing police. He appeared in court to answer the charges on Monday.
