Allegedly driving around with a gun has led to charges for a Wallaceburg man.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers received a report about a man in a vehicle who was in possession of a firearm on Dauw Avenue in Wallaceburg, at around 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Authorities located a vehicle, discovered a firearm inside and arrested a suspect.
A 23-year-old Wallaceburg man is now charged with possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm and careless storage of a firearm.
He was later released from custody with a future court date.
