
Charges have been laid following a domestic disturbance in Tupperville.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service was called on November 14 after a man uttered threats toward his female partner. The man was also seen on CCTV footage striking the woman’s vehicle before leaving the property.
Following an investigation, a warrant was issued for the arrest of a 31-year-old Bothwell man.
The accused turned himself in at police headquarters in Chatham on Monday at around 2:30 p.m. He is now charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, and mischief under $5,000. He will answer the charges in court next month.
