
Impaired driving charges have been laid after police located a vehicle facing the wrong direction in Raleigh Township.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were contacted about the vehicle on Queens Line shortly before 3 a.m. on Thursday.
Authorities located the vehicle and found the driver behind the wheel and showing signs of impairment. The driver was arrested and taken to police headquarters for testing.
As a result, a 19-year-old Raleigh Township woman is now charged with impaired driving and driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit. She was later released with a future court date.
