A holiday competition is inviting the public to taste and vote their way through Chatham-Kent’s most festive cocktails and mocktails.
Several local bars and restaurants are taking part in Sip the Season: Holiday Edition, which encourages guests to sample exclusive holiday-themed beverages and vote on their favourites. Mocktail lovers are included too, with alcohol-free creations competing for their own title.
The municipality’s most talented mixologists will be mixing drinks at Forte resto-lounge, Mamma Maria’s Ristorante, Red Barn Brewing Company, Suite No46, and Turns & Tales Board Game Cafe. More venues may also be added as the event continues throughout the holiday season.
The month-long event was created by organizer Doug Robbins, also known as DougTheFoodie, the creator behind the Tart & Soul Butter Tart Festival in both Chatham and Windsor.
Sip the Season is on now and will run until December 15.
