A forest of generosity is helping to support kids with special needs in Chatham-Kent.
Officials with the Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation of Chatham-Kent, in partnership with Lisa Lester of Four Diamond Events, turned the Chatham Armoury into a whimsical Christmas forest in late November for the LoveWish Christmas Tree raffle.
The event raised $28,038 for the CTC Foundation.
“LoveWish is more than a holiday fundraiser,” Lester said in a news release. “It’s an act of community love. It’s hundreds of people showing up with heart so that kids in our community can thrive.”
The CTC Foundation works to raise awareness and funds for programs, equipment, and services that support children and youth with physical, developmental, and communication needs.
