A Ridgetown man is facing charges after an argument between a man and a woman turned violent.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers responded to a domestic disturbance at a Blenheim residence at around 10 a.m. on Thursday.
Authorities said a dispute escalated into violence, and a 42-year-old woman was assaulted. The extent of her injuries has not been released.
As a result, a 40-year-old Ridgetown man was arrested and is now charged with assault causing bodily harm and mischief. He was later released from custody with a January court date.
