Cascades Casino continues to pay dividends for Chatham-Kent.
The municipality has received $441,738 from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) for hosting the Chatham gaming site. The total payment is based on the amount of gaming revenue generated during the third quarter of the fiscal year from October 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025.
Chatham-Kent has earned $1,378,344 so far this fiscal year.
Since April 2001, the municipality has received $20,921,267 in host fees from both the former Dresden Slots and the current Cascades Casino.
The funds are put toward local infrastructure projects and community programs.
