No injuries have been reported after a snow plow and transport collided on the 401 near Chatham.
Emergency crews responded to the highway early Sunday afternoon, shutting down the westbound lanes between Bloomfield Road and Queens Line for several hours, reopening shortly before 9 o’clock last night.
Provincial Police also responded to a single-vehicle collision involving a transport near Bloomfield just before midnight. In that case, the eastbound lanes were closed for just over an hour with no injuries reported.
Drivers are reminded to go slow in snowy weather and be prepared for quickly changing conditions.
