It’s a sure sign that spring is just around the corner.
The 25th annual Roses for Rotary campaign is underway, raising money for the Rotary Club of Chatham Sunrise.
Proceeds support local organizations, including Habitat for Humanity Chatham-Kent, the Chatham-Kent Women’s Centre, ROCK Reach Out Chatham-Kent, and Outreach for Hunger, as well as international humanitarian efforts.
Over the last 24 years, more than $300,000 has been raised through the Roses for Rotary campaign.
Roses are ordered by the dozen at a cost of $30 cash/e-transfer or $31 by credit card. The cost includes delivery across Chatham-Kent on April 1. Pickup is also available at the Portuguese Club on Grand Avenue East.
The deadline for orders is Friday, March 27.
